Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India (AOMSI) is a non–profit
professional association with special interest in the professional and public
needs of the specialty of maxillofacial surgery the surgical annex of dentistry.
AOMSI has 1000 affiliate members from the Indian subcontinent and more than 4000
subscribers internationally. Various academic national and international
conferences, educational and research symposiums public health programs were
conducted by the association. The main avocation of AOMSI is to provide
professional standards, ethical behavior and responsibilities of its fellows and
members through education, research advocacy and also contributing public
welfare.
JMOSI is a
quarterly journal offering comprehensive coverage on new techniques, recent
developments and innovative contributions on oral and maxillofacial surgery. The
journal publishes papers of high scientific merit and widest possible scope on
oral and maxillofacial surgery. Clinical articles help develop the methods used
to handle dentoalveolar surgery, facial injuries and deformities, TMJ disorders,
oral cancer, jaw reconstruction, anesthesia and analgesia. The journal also
includes specificities on new instruments and diagnostic equipment and modern
therapeutic drugs and devices.
